Until recently, the Bella Homes’ process has always been the same: we select a piece of property, then gather a talented crew of architects, electricians, plumbers, landscapers, and more to bring our creation to life. This home is then placed on the market and sold.
A custom build project takes a different approach. Rather than a potential buyer discovering an upcoming Bella Home on the market, the client comes to us first with the intention of working together to create a home. This means that we partner with you to build your dream home from the ground up!
What does the Bella Homes’ Custom Build process look like?
The first step in our process is to hold a discovery meeting to learn more about what you are looking for. You may already have a floor plan prepared or are simply in the daydreaming stage. Either way, this initial meeting – or series of meetings – allows us to prepare for the project with a deep understanding of your vision, budget, and time frame.
Next, we work with you to select the perfect lot for your home. As seasoned builders, we know how to ensure your desired lot meets all the home elevation and topography standards. We will then work with our in-house design team to draw up your home on paper and in CAD files. You’ll be in close collaboration with us to ensure your home includes all the architectural elements, finishes, appliances, and smart technology suited to your lifestyle.
Then all that’s left is to build your home! We’ll give you a construction timeline and keep you updated on the build progress. Bella Homes’ personal approach means that we’re onsite nearly every day throughout the construction process, so you can rest assured that every detail is held to our standards.
