The usual Bella Homes process is: we select a piece of property, then gather a talented crew of architects, electricians, plumbers, landscapers, and more to bring our homes to life. This home is then placed on the market and sold.
A custom build project takes a different approach. Rather than a potential buyer finding a Bella Home on the market, the client comes to us first with the intention of working together to create their dream home. This means that we partner with you to build your home from start to finish!
What does the Bella Homes’ Custom Build process look like?
The first step in our process is to hold a discovery meeting to learn more about what you are looking for. How many beds, baths, and luxuries do you want/need in your life. You may already have a floor plan prepared or are simply in the fantasizing stage. Either way, this initial meeting – or series of meetings – allows us to prepare for the project with a deep understanding of your vision, budget, and time frame.
Next, we work with you to select the perfect lot for your home. As seasoned builders, we know how to ensure your desired lot meets all the home elevation and topography standards. We will then work with our in-house design team to draw up your home on paper and in CAD files. You’ll be in close collaboration with us to ensure your home includes all the architectural elements, finishes, appliances, and smart technology suited to your lifestyle. Then all that’s left is to build your home! We’ll give you a construction timeline and keep you updated on the building’s progress. Bella Homes’ personal approach means that we’re onsite nearly every day throughout the construction process, so you can rest assured that every detail is held to our standards.
